　　查莉斯的古怪脾气和经常性“失踪”让道格烦不胜烦，但在长年累月的相处中，查莉斯对道格产生了坚实的信任和真挚的友谊。就在道格不断要求上司将他调离岗位之时，发生了一件震惊全国的糟糕事件，查莉斯竟然遭到了歹徒的绑架。身为她的保护者，道格决定履行他的职责，誓要追查出幕后的黑手所在。
