◎简　　介

　　1996年，香港警方预备在回归前夕涤荡黑帮势力，营造法制环境，戴先生掌控的社团首当其冲在打击范围之内。是夜，戴先生社团五大堂主之一的占米被人暗杀，身中两枪生死未卜，占米之妻张桦（蔡少芬 饰）远在台湾，授意保镖伍宝（余文乐 饰）代理老大一职调剂各方关系，阻止老二黑水（杜汶泽 饰）向其他四位堂主寻仇，咖啡（黄贯中 饰）、木星、沙纸三位堂主闻风而动，在乱局中各有盘算。真实身份是警方卧底的伍宝当夜宿醉难耐，又要在短短几小时内周旋于社团、黑水与警方之间，暗恋伍宝的亚玲（江若琳 饰）跟随相助，但社团混战随时可能爆发。另一方面，掌握了真凶的警方暗中布置，趁机派出内应把事件复杂化以便将社团一网打尽……
