　　威尔（亚历山大·路德韦格 Alexander Ludwig 饰）跟随着父母从美国搬到了英国，新的环境，新的学校和新的朋友，对于天生胆小害羞的威尔来说，想要适应这些是一件颇为不易的事情。一次意外中，马里曼（伊恩·麦柯肖恩 Ian McShane 饰）和格蕾索恩小姐（弗兰西丝· 康罗伊 Frances Conroy 饰）出现在了威尔的面前，他们向威尔讲述了他血液里流淌着的神奇传说。
