简　　介

　　米奇（比利·克里斯托 Billy Crystal 饰）是一名铁腕篮球裁判，他深深的热爱着自己的工作。一场意外让米奇结识了名为艾伦（德博拉·温格 Debra Winger 饰）的美丽异国女子，很快，米奇就发现自己无法忘记艾伦的容颜，当他千里迢迢重返法国企图找到艾伦时，才发现艾伦已经结婚了。
　　失落的米奇回到了美国，情绪陷入了低谷之中，让他没有想到的是，某日，艾伦竟然出现在了他的面前，甚至为了他辞去了她在法国的职务，就这样，米奇和艾伦开始了共同的生活。然而，生活中的各种摩擦让米奇和艾伦争吵不断，而为了安慰和陪伴艾伦，米奇毅然决定放弃自己心爱的职业，成为了一名销售员。米奇和艾伦都觉得，或许一个孩子的降生能够挽回两人之间伤痕累累的感情，可是直到这时两人才发现，艾伦根本就无法生育。
