　　这部电影以4名身穿燕尾服的男子在监狱里露面，与一个刚刚在监狱里服刑3年的朋友见面，并直接从监狱出来和他的女朋友结婚。在去参加婚礼的路上，其中一个男人要求去银行取点钱。事实证明，他是一个被通缉的银行劫匪，他在抢劫过程中使用了莎士比亚的段落，因此被称为“哈姆雷特”。很快五个人都被困在银行里，卷入了一起抢劫案，最后被劫持为人质。人质谈判代表出现在哈姆雷特的父亲面前。当这些人都知道被抢劫的时候，这个古怪的喜剧在他们的人质全部工作以支持他们的时候作为反转..........
