◎剧情简介
  山姆（比利·克鲁德普 Billy Crudup 饰）是一位事业有成的广告公司总裁，一场意外夺取了他的儿子乔什（迈尔斯·赫尔泽 Miles Heizer 饰）的生命，这突如其来的打击让山姆陷入了绝望之中，他放弃了所拥有的一切，躲在自己的帆船里，每日靠酗酒过活。
　　一次偶然中，山姆意外发现了乔什生前写的几首歌曲，歌曲让山姆仿佛重新回到了父子两人共同为音乐而狂的美好时代。山姆决定让乔什的生命在音乐中延续，他学会了儿子创作的歌曲，于酒吧之中自弹自唱。山姆真挚的歌声吸引了一位名叫昆汀（安东·尤金 Anton Yelchin 饰）的年轻人，两人一拍即合组成了乐队，专门表演乔什所谱的歌曲。
