　　杰瑞·丹宁（乔纳森·希金斯 Jonathan Higgins 饰）供职于麦博登通讯公司的高管，他前途光明，是下任副总裁的最佳人选。但就在此关键时刻，他被性感美丽的女同事蕊贝卡·沃克（戴安·梅尔 Dina Meyer 饰）控告㊟㊟，杰瑞的人生瞬间跌入谷底，他被老板扫地出门，与老婆香侬（Amy Sloan 饰）的婚姻也濒临崩溃。经过律师认真调查取证，杰瑞终于证明自己的清白，并得到一千万美元的赔偿金。
