　　布鲁克复康院。这不只是精神病者的住所，也是一群食肉老鼠的家园！ 　　简·丝华和麦克都是费利报的记者，他们决定调查布鲁克复康院有关被MCP集团私有化的秘闻。丝华假装因精神混乱而试图㊟㊟被送入布鲁克复康院，她和麦克里应外合，对这家精神病医院进行暗中调查。 　　这里的人有时友好，有时又情绪失控，他们多数患的是精神分裂症。随着丝华不断深入地调查，离奇的事件也接二连三地发生。夜晚的怪异声音，病人娜奥美、摩根的神秘失踪，哑巴斯比的画与丝华在半夜里模糊中看到的鲜血现场一模一样，杂工岩斯的异常行为更让事情增添几分神秘。 　　当他们查出事情的真相，和院长温·威廉医生的恐怖实验时，局面已经无法控制，整个复康院陷入一片恐慌……
