　　富裕又有点自负的律师Ben Bennet，在法庭上以无意的言语冒犯了因误会而被控对女朋友有暴力行为的焊工Lee Darcy。初次相见彼此都没留下好感，这也成为了Ben爱上Lee之后彼此间一个重大障碍。
