　　故事发生在十九世纪的朝鲜，东花岛上发生了装贡品的船被大火烧于一旦的案件，为了调查案件的真相，朝廷派出了调查官李元奎（车胜元 饰）前往东花岛。哪知道一行人刚到岛上没多久，此地就发生了杀人事件，死者死相极为惨烈，让人不忍直视。
　　很快，凶手便被捉拿归案，可之后，包括被捉拿的凶手在内，死者人数在不断的增加，这也就意味着，案件的黑手依然在幕后活动着，不仅如此，有关七年前枉死的安专员的灵魂作祟的消息不胫而走，而如今遇害的人们，都是和当年事件有着千丝万缕关联的存在。李元奎和画师斗浩（池城 饰）联手查案，却苦于毫无头绪。
