　　百的战争中的法国：出身农家的小姑娘约汉娜获悉自己从英国的奴役下获得自由后，受历史使命的驱使，找到法国国王查理七纪，并说服他同英国开战。她女扮男装，出任一支新组建的军队首领，并在1429年解放奥莱恩场面的战斗中取胜。一年后她被英国以莫须有的罪名关入英国监狱，她只有当众发誓放弃自己的立场才能免于一死。但经过长时间的激烈思想斗争后，她撕毁了已签署的协定，因此被处以极刑……
