◎简　　介　

　　身材魁梧、高大健硕的雷·肖恩（戴夫·巴蒂斯塔 Dave Batista 饰）曾是一名警察，因牢狱之灾让他失去这份阳光下的工作，如今的他多与夜晚为伴，成为了一家名为“旭日之家”的夜总会的驻场保安。在一个平静的夜晚，几名蒙面持枪的歹徒闯入夜总会，原本劫财的他们混乱中枪杀了老板的儿子皮特。在此之后，雷平静而枯燥的生活被打破，他不仅受到警方的盘查和刁难，还要在老板的逼迫下寻找杀害皮特的凶手。雷被迫走上了一条充满刀光血影的荆棘之路……
　　本片根据Chuck Hustmyre的小说改编，男主角Dave Batista为世界最著名的摔角组织WWE（World Wrestling Entertainment）的重量级摔角明星。
