　　强尼摆脱了在爱尔兰罪恶的过去到伦敦隐名埋姓生活下来。不料他从前的黑帮伙伴弗林从布里克斯顿（伦敦南部一地区）监狱逃出，并且计划在一些地方放置炸弹以扰乱爱尔兰和平进程。由于一直无法逃离布里克斯顿地区，他们只好躲在强尼的住所藏身。不过在强尼居住的街区却是龙蛇混杂。他的楼上是一家非法音乐电台，而楼下是一名叫做朱利叶斯的西印度人贩。罪恶肮脏的环境像一个巨大的黑洞吸附着强尼身上原有的罪恶细胞。当善于交际的弗林与那些黑帮成员慢慢混熟时，强尼却在想尽办法脱身，不断的和自己的黑暗过去告别。然而，不幸的是他错误的爱上了人贩朱利叶斯的女友瑞塔，从而一场爱恨交织的血腥大混战开始了，其中夹杂着种族文化矛盾，帮派仇恨，人性的极端罪恶……
