　　超人越来越受群众的爱戴，而老对手卢瑟也更加怨恨他了。为了打败超人，卢瑟研究了一种新型武器，还特意注入一种特制的氪化合物，将Brainiac装备得无坚不摧。因女友路易斯受伤，超人必须到神秘的幻影世界去寻找解药。Brianiac以为超人将有去无回，于是背叛了卢瑟，开始随心所 欲在城市里到处肆虐，而超人必须赶在他毁灭地球之前阻止他。
　　打斗很爽啊，不过超人似乎完全不在意战斗时对大都会造成的损害，恐怕有一半城市都被他们拆了...对Bruce Timm的DCAU系列来说，JLU才是它的终结，给了这个系列一个完满的句号——或者说通向更多未尽战斗的省略号。而不是这部骗取了所有fans感情的所谓《Superma n: Brainiac Attacks》。在STAS完结近10年的时候，华纳放弃JLU的DTV不做，特意出Superman，当然是司马昭之心路人皆知的，百度影音摆明了是要搭超人5电影的车。由于要赶电影的档极影影院期，这部片子的草率也就完全是情理之中了。只可怜翘首以待的忠实fans们，他们对DCAU实在抱了无比的信心——而这部片就毫不留情的将他们的期待与信任，连同Bruce Timm十余年来的苦心经营一举粉碎。
