　　对于14岁的男孩凯文（宝娃 Bow Wow 饰）来说，能够成为入驻NBA的超级篮球巨星一直以来都是他的梦想，为了实现这个梦想，他每天都做着不懈的努力。遗憾的是，梦想和现实之间的距离的遥远的，站在篮球场上，身形单薄的凯文成为了众矢之的。
　　一次偶然中，凯文捡到了一双球鞋，在球鞋上，写着“MJ”两个字母，对篮球十分关注的凯文立刻就认出，这双鞋属于他的偶像——篮球飞人迈克尔乔丹。在欣喜若狂之中，凯文穿上了乔丹的球鞋，意外地，他发现自己竟然拥有了如同飞人一般的体能和技巧，凭借着这双球鞋，他在球队中出尽了风头，甚至成为了NBA有史以来最年轻的选手，成功的达成了梦想。
