简　　介

　　根据传奇犯罪作家艾尔墨·莱昂纳多的小说改编。去年，丹泽尔·华盛顿的《视线之外》也是根据他的同名小说改编而成的。
　　杰克·瑞恩（欧文·威尔逊）是个居无定所、逃避法律的天才。他只身来到夏威夷，希望这里如画的风景能给自己带来一些好运。在充满热带风情的地方，杰克很快发现自己想要的是一段罗曼史。
　　房地产商雷·瑞奇（盖瑞·希尼斯）不顾当地居民的㊟㊟强行建房。杰克在他那里找到份工作。但是，刚一开工，就跟工头哈里斯起了㊟㊟。瑞奇的左右手小鲍伯（查理斯·肖恩）警告杰克最好离开这个岛，但杰克对此置若罔闻。
　　杰克的出色搏击技术给法官沃尔特（摩根·弗里曼）留下深刻印象。他为杰克提供了一份充满危险的工作。漂亮姑娘南希·贺耶斯（萨拉·福斯特）可不像外她表看起来那么简单，她引诱杰克为自己工作，企图从雷那里偷走一笔巨款。杰克很感兴趣，但是一直在犹豫。对他而言，这可能是笔不错的买卖……
