　　一直觉得学校生活百无聊赖的August（马里奥?毛瑞尔 Mario Maurer 饰），遇上了言语极少富有神秘气息的转校生June。对 June一见钟情的August，想要接近她，却不知如何是好。不知怎样表达其爱意的August适得其反，对 June的作弄使得其很反感August。一次偶然的机会，August知道了June沉默感言背后的原因：原来June的妈妈因为车祸丧失了听力，只能用手语表达。于是August开始为June学起了手语。两人在互相理解中开始对对方互生好感，一场校园恋爱似乎即将拉开序幕。但是双方的父母却因为各自的原因要换工作，而August和June也不得不因此换学校，相约在离开前再见对方的二人却又阴差阳错的错过彼此。
　　
　　被分开的二人依然记挂着彼此，为了见到对方而相互努力着，但这段青涩的爱总是被天意捉弄，最后知道真相的他们只能唏嘘长叹。
