简　　介

　　杰维是纽约有钱家族的少爷，热爱音乐，个性自由；去巴黎旅游时因为汽车抛锚停在一家孤儿院，偶然看到朱迪照顾一群小孩子，向朱迪提供了一份奖学金送朱迪去美国麻省读大学。他承诺以化名提供，不接触这个女孩，仅仅要求每周写一封信。朱迪开心的接受了这位guardian的好意，开始崭新的大学生活。杰维很快把这件事情忘到脑后，直到两年后被朱迪来信打动的秘书提醒他读信才想起来。读完厚厚的信件，杰维立刻迫不及待的找个理由去看朱迪... [故事较原著小说偏离挺大，朱迪的特长似乎从写作变成了歌舞]
