简　　介

　　詹姆士·克拉维尔在他的小说《鼠王》中了不少自己作为英国战犯的经历。布赖恩·福布斯在同名电影中启用了影星乔治·西戈尔，让他在片中策划一个日本战俘集中营里的所有黑市交易。他之所以被称为“鼠王”是因为他饲养啮齿动物以供同伴的战俘食用，以及其多变的性格。在英国军官詹姆士·福克斯的协助下，他把交易扩展到日本军官。虽然西戈尔表面上是个自私的人，但他通过骗取守卫手里珍稀的抗生素挽救了病重的福克斯的性命。
