◎简　　介

　　甚少有电影提到二次大战美国的亚洲人集中营的事。本片就是少数中的少数，透过美国人和亚洲人的眼同时看见历史上的痛。一九三0年代，在纽约工会组织工作杰克（丹尼斯·奎德饰），有天在一桩爆炸案发生后，发现自己一直相信工会，其实也不一定全是对的。于是他离开美国东岸，来到洛杉矶。一名住在小日本区的日本妇人收留了他，让他在她的店里工作，这时杰克对她的女儿莉莉一见钟情，两人长久相处下，决定结婚，但当时加州的法律对于异族婚姻有相当多的限制，唯恐外国人藉此取得绿卡。为了想拥有合法的婚姻，他们索性搬到西雅图定居。m.yakutv.cc
