◎简　　介　

　　本片是描写西班牙的一位英雄——卢利哥．狄亚斯（查尔顿．赫斯登饰）的一生经历的史诗古装片。故事背景是在1180年的西班牙，那时候西班牙还是三个分裂的小国，之间互无干扰，只因其中的卢利哥伯爵违反了卡斯提尔国王的命令，释放摩尔人的酋长而被称之为叛逆，引起冲突。他误杀了未婚妻的父亲，引来另外一个王国前来争夺城池的属权，幸好卢利哥奋勇战斗才能保全领土完整。不久国王去世，两位皇子也来争夺帝位，最后桑乔被刺，卢强逼艾发誓没有刺杀桑，而得罪新王被判终身放逐，却引来非洲摩尔人的入侵。卢利哥得到下属的拥护出面抵抗，并领导各部诸候共同剿杀前来侵犯的㊟㊟大军，取得胜利，并得到未婚妻（索菲亚．罗兰饰）的原谅。
