◎简　　介

　　丈夫彼得（阿登·杨 Aden Young 饰）的死让道恩（夏洛特·甘斯布 Charlotte Gain㊟㊟ourg 饰）伤心欲绝，就在此时，道恩的小女儿西蒙娜（摩根·戴维斯 Morgana Davies 饰）却告诉她，彼得的灵魂栖息在院子里的一颗巨大的榕树之上，正默默的守护着整个家庭。靠着榕树的支撑，道恩渐渐从永失我爱的痛苦和悲伤中走了出来，优秀青年乔治（马尔顿·索克斯 Marton Csokas 饰）的出现更是让道恩重新感受到了被爱和被关怀的快乐。
　　没想到，道恩和乔治之间的感情遭到了女儿的强烈反对，西蒙娜无法相信除了父亲外，母亲竟然还能爱上别的男人。同时，院子里的榕树似乎对道恩身上所发生的事情了如指掌，它竟然也开始用它自己的方法干预起了道恩的生活。
