简　　介

　　有着天赋性智障的詹姆斯（小库珀·古丁 Cuba Gooding Jr. 饰）从小到大都是众人嘲笑的工具，由于他总带着一个收音机，“收音机”就成为了他的代号。没事的时辰，詹姆斯喜好呆在汉娜高中活动场，久而久之，一个名叫哈罗德（艾德·哈里斯 Ed Harris 饰）的教练留意到了他。
在又一次被人玩弄后，哈罗德帮詹姆斯解了围，不但如此，他还当众公布，今后往后，詹姆斯将会是他的橄榄球队中的一员。哈罗德的这个决议让队员们非常不解，但很快，他们就发现了詹姆斯身上所闪烁着的人性光辉。在詹姆斯悲观情感的影响下，球队屡战屡胜，队员之间的关系也加倍慎密，詹姆斯不但走出了生射中的昏公开带，还将欢畅和希望带给了更多的人。
