简　　介

　　1859年，一颗陨石坠落在格陵兰，掀起的冰雪覆盖了茫茫大地……时间回到当代，一名因纽特男孩以赛亚坠楼身亡，他的邻居——冰原学者史米拉（Julia Ormond 饰）发现现场疑点重重，更为重要的是，史米拉清楚有恐高症的以赛亚不会去房顶玩耍。史米拉为了不辜负她和以赛亚的友情，决意将真相调查到底。
　　以赛亚的父亲生前为格陵兰矿业公司雇佣，结果不幸死于野外事故，同时陪同父亲工作但幸免于难的以赛亚开始定期接受丹麦顶尖医生的体检，而医生背后则是矿业公司总裁。各种神秘人物不断阻扰史米拉的调查，同一栋楼内的失语症机械师站到了史米拉身边予以保护让调查得以继续。从一系列谋杀与陷害事件中逃离后，史米拉终于发现一切都源于那颗陨石……
