　　女孩Veronica(理查森)发现自己怀孕了，她只能和有车的“前”好友Bailey(Ferreira)一起上路，寻求合法堕胎：Veronica的男友很窝囊，她自己也不想这么年轻就当妈妈，不然会影响她的常春藤大学梦。而她所在的美国密苏里州规定未成年人必须有父母同意才能堕胎，她的父母并不同意。Veronica决定旅行900英里，去新墨西哥州堕胎后回家。
