◎简　　介　

　　安妮（托妮·科莱特 饰）和鲍勃（哈威·凯特尔 饰）是一对富有且人脉广泛的美国夫妇。在为久经世故的国际朋友准备特别豪华的晚餐时，安妮发现到场只有13位客人，安妮惊惶失措，因为她坚信13是个非常不吉利的数字。不得已的情况下，安妮让她的忠实女仆玛丽亚（萝西·德·帕尔马 饰）伪装成一个神秘的西班牙贵妇人参加他们的晚餐。然而，在酒精的驱使下，玛丽亚意外地得到了一位英国艺术品经纪人（迈克尔·史麦利 饰）的青睐。本片讲述了安妮为扼杀他们正在萌芽的恋情而发生一系列啼笑皆非的事情。
