简　　介

　　那布勒斯国王费尔迪南多在临终前对于自己一生的回忆，他曾经是一个玩劣少年专门闯祸，后来，年幼的费尔迪南多按照继承习惯成为那布勒斯新国王，为了巩固和奥地利的关系，他将按照他父亲西班牙皇帝的意思迎娶奥地利皇后的女儿乔万娜，一晃十年过去了，未等迎娶乔万娜却出天花死了，为了皇室利益他的父亲又为他挑选了奥地利的公主杰丝帕，可是，她同样出天花死了，本来心不甘情不愿的小国王暗中窃喜，为了联盟，他的国务顾问和修士共谋让他签下了同意婚约的证书，为此他不得不违心和奥地利公主卡罗莱娜结婚。皇室欢欣鼓舞，而两个当事人却彼此并不开心，结婚之后，共同的政治利益和他们的相互了解使得他们的关系出现了微妙的变化，这种幸福却引起了费尔迪南多父亲卡罗的担心，为了儿子不被媳妇控制，他想出了阴险的方法，然而，这一切被聪明的卡罗莱娜察觉，皇宫成为了他们斗智的场所，她处处占据上风，直到费尔迪南多咽气都没有翻身……
